I love a good murder mystery book; take me on a journey, ideally with a few unexpected yet interesting twists and I'm a happy reader! Magpie Murders is a unique murder mystery book, as it's a books within books style murder mystery which is an interesting take on the genre and not something I've read before. It reads as a beautiful ode to the Agatha Christie-style whodunnits of the past, with a few fresh plot and twists that kept me hooked and reading late at night.
